Cori Lynn Martin is a first time author, but has been writing nearly all her life. Early inspirations include The Dark Tower series by Stephen King, The Inheritance Cycle by Christopher Paolini, and The Dragonlance Chronicles by Margaret Weis and Tracy Hickman. In later years she would get inspiration from fantasy roleplaying games such as Dragon Age, The Elder Scrolls, and Final Fantasy, among others.
Cori grew up in a small town in northern Pennsylvania. When she is not writing she spends time at home with her cats and boyfriend, reading, or playing video games. She is a part-time online student studying Game Art and Development and works as a secretary at a local agency.
